Have you ever wondered how USS CONSTITUTION earned her nickname “Old Ironsides?” Visit the USS Constitution Museum on the day commemorating USS CONSTITUTION's famous August 19, 1812 victory over HMS GUERRIERE with a day filled with CONSTITUTION hands-on history and engaging activities! Etch your name is copper, learn about this epic battle through a new gallery program and enjoy fun activities and take-home crafts with the whole family - all the meanwhile enjoying some FREE ice cream in the Museum’s Courtyard!

The USS Constitution Museum is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard, directly across from USS CONSTITUTION, and offers the largest gift shop on Freedom Trail. The USS Constitution Museum is a nonprofit, educational institution whose mission is to serve as the memory and the educational voice of the USS CONSTITUTION, by collecting, preserving and interpreting the stories of “Old Ironsides” and the people associated with her. CBA Luncheon "Meet and Greet with State Senator Anthony Gallucio"

On Tuesday, April 25th, Senator Anthony Galluchio was the featured speaker at our April Luncheon Event held at the Navy Yard Bistro.
The Senator came and took questions from the floor from CBA members. Topics included, traffic, non-profit funding, crime, business issues and youth.
The Navy Yard Bistro prepared a beautiful lunch menu that included a tasty fresh salad and either an Asian Inspired Salmon and rice dish or Artichoke Pasta Dish. As usual, the Navy Yard Bistro was successful in providing a meal that was more than worth the cost and was also fast and delicious.
